Below are some commonly asked questions about precast stone.  For any further questions or information about our product please contact one of our professional team members and they will be sure to assist you.

Question: What is your product made out of?

Answer: Precast stone is a Portland cement based material, which is a proprietary blend of components mostly consisting of cement, aggregates, and reinforcing fibers.

Question: Do they come in different colors?

 Answer: We have an extensive collection of colors to choose from which can be produced in any of our finish options.  StudioCast Designs also provides a custom color service.

Question: What is the type of finish?

 Answer: We provide four standard finishes which replicate natural stone: Sandblast has a French limestone look; Hand-Honed a smooth finish; Chateau resembles natural tumbled stone; and Vintage has a rustic, antiqued look.  Please contact one of our designers for color and finish samples.

Question: Do the mantles come in different sizes?

 Answer: Most of our mantles have adjustable capabilities, and we have many different sizes to select from. The over-mantle systems are sold separately and are also adjustable.

Question: Can I create my own custom design?

 Answer: Yes. We can re-create any concept and provide custom designs for fireplace mantles as well as all other product. Most of our exterior work is custom made.
